Please be more specific about what moving averages you are using. Also, if you have not watched the following video, you should do so:

The only other one is linked in Doug's post above.
We can create a PCF if you like. What exactly are you looking for?

rchen,
I've broken down the videos in the Product Help/Tutorial Videos forum by author. None of Doug's videos would seem to fit your description besides the two already mentioned:

rchen,
I do not understand your question well enough to even hazard a guess at what you might mean.

rchen,
Please try the following:
Most recent 20-Trading Days:
MAXH20 <= 1.1 * C AND MINL20 >= .9 * C
Previous 20-Trading Days:
MAXH20.1 <= 1.1 * C AND MINL20.1 >= .9 * C

I have been trying to write a pcf scan to find stocks whose price is above a moving average for the last three trading days. I have not been able to get a list of stocks whose price is above the lets say 8 day
exp moving average. I always get a bunch of stocks whose price is below the 8 day exp moving average
along with a bunch of stocks whose price is above the 8 day exp moving average. Please help me.
What I would like to get is:
1. A list of stocks whose price is all above the 8 day exp moving average and the d+ line in ADX above the d- line.( I think this would show me the bullish strength of the price of the stock staying above the moving average)
2. The reverse of # 1 to get stocks below the 8 day exp moving average.
Can you also tell me where to find your answer.

You may wish to try using one of the following Personal Criteria Formulas as an EasyScan Condition to find symbols where Price was above or below its 8-Period Exponential Moving Average for three periods:
Price above EMA8 for at least 3-Periods:
C > XAVGC8 AND C1 > XAVGC8.1 AND C2 > XAVGC8.2
Price below EMA8 for at least 3-Periods:
C < XAVGC8 AND C1 < XAVGC8.1 AND C2 < XAVGC8.2
