Hello,
I am Pavel from Czech Republic and as you see I am gold user. First, I am satisfied with your product because it helps me educate myself and this is what I am expecting most.
Second. I have some questions. 1. I can use Money Stream “one week surge”. HOW I can use “surge for one day” with Money Stream?
2. Can I see somewhere how many companies reach today “New high for the year and compare with new low for this year”?
3. Have I chance as Gold user to see 15, 10 or 5 min chart after market? Because Peter and Dan Wordens talking about MS, TSV etc. and I would like to analyze after market how this indicator react in minutes charts.
4. I am looking for some PCF how to create scan for BB spreading and BB pinching? I am not as good to create them, but it will be very helpful and I believe some one already did it. But I have no idea how I can find it.
Thank you very much for your unsure

Welcome to the TeleChart family!
1) A one-day MoneyStream surge can be created using the PCF language. Start by watching this short video:
How to create a Personal Criteria Forumula (PCF)
Once you learn how to create PCFs create this one: MoneyStream 1-day Surge (MS1-MS1.1)/(MAX(MS1,99)-MIN(MS1,99)*100
2) You can create an EasyScan for each condition then check their counts (the number of stocks in each one)
Here are TWO PCFs you need to create
New 1-year High H>MAXH249.1
New 1-year Low L<MINL249.1
Once you create them you can create two new EasyScans and put one in each. Here is a short video on how to create an EasyScan.
Using EasyScan to find stocks that meet your own criteria
3) Intraday charts with a time frame smaller than daily are only available at the Platinum service level
4) Check out this video for your BB question:

Hi Craig, Now I am working on the BB. I had set up custom indicators. In case I have BB 20, 20, and I am looking for the stock which after contracting JUST start expanding, should I put for Visual sorting period 10? Or 3 days because I would like to see stock which JUST start EXPANDING.
For example I would like to find stocks which looks like as today IBM. Yesterday it was not what I would like to see.
I would like to see this type of the stocks at the bottom or top of my watch list.
Thank you Pavel

Hi Craig again, Now I am working on MS and I have a little problem. After I test the formula, it gives me this error. "Error in Formula Syntax“, „Market days needed to calculate Criterion: 100"
What it mean?
Thanks

I'm assuming you've already watched this video, which Craig suggested:
Finding Expanding or Contracting Bollinger Bands
Your formula would be ABS(AVGC10-AVGC20)
When you do your visual sorting, you must choose Visual Change. In the video, Craig suggests that your visual change period should be set to 10 (which is half the value of your Bollinger Band period). When I tested the sort here, I tried using 3, since you want more recent expansion of the bands. Either way seems to work OK. With 10, I found more defined contraction, but the expansion began longer ago. With 3, the expansion began more recently, but the preceding contractions weren't always as decisive.
Regardless, starting at the top of your list, as you scroll through looking at the charts (sorted either way), you'll be able to spot immediately the stocks where the expansion took place very recently. I'd probably stick with the 10, and let my eyes pick out the recent expanders. You should try both sorts to see which one you like best.

I must say good support. But its dangers for you, because we will have (as a users) more question.
I have some again.
1. You Dough write some where about colored graph. How I can do it - in case that candle is engulfing candle (bearish o bullish) I would like to have different color of the candle. Is it possible?
2. New year high o low - number 249 - that mean how many days are working days in market? Is it correct?
3. How I can paste picture if I do PrtSc on keyboard and I would like to explain something on this picture.
Thanks Pavel

#1: Check out this link:
solid and open candles
#2: Not sure what you are asking. MAXH250 would give the highest high for a one year period. MINL250 would give the lowest low for the year. 250 trading days in the year.

Again some questions. 1) Do you have in TC Parabolic SAR? If TC does not have it, do you plan to create this indicator?
2) Have I chance to draw line to indicator area (Second and third part under graph?) For example I would like to draw divergences in MS or TSV with price if price is in first part, MS in second and TSV in third part of windows.
Nice day from Prague to you

Parabolic SAR is not currently included as an indicator in TeleChart. It is also not currently possible to use the Drawing Tools in the Middle and Bottom sections of the chart. Both features have been suggested previously. Worden Brothers does not normally discuss future features until they are released or officially announced.

Hi Caig,

This is a first day drop below the 20 day EMA. The second is a first day above the 20 day EMA.
C < XAVGC20 AND C1 > XAVGC20.1
C > XAVGC20 AND C1 < XAVGC20.1
You can add more days before the crossover to improve the PCF's usefulness. Such as for the first formula add: AND C2 > XAVGC20.2 AND C3 > XAVGC20.3

Scroll down below the video window, and you will see the PCF's posted there. You can copy and paste them into your TeleChart.

When I click the video link, it plays within the discussion block under Craigs March 22, 2005 posting. And there is no window to scroll down. I don't see any video window to scroll or any thing resembling a PCF or PCF link or template. ??

Possibility to draw stops
Thank you for great software which helping me trade and at the some time learn. Great work from Petr and Dan to every body around support !!!
Because I love this software I have some suggestion. I have hard time to set up stops. Help me a lot, if I cane draw visual stop to the graph. I like to see some simile tools how I so it in Trade Navigator. Do you expect that Telechart will have this possibility in a future also?
What I would like to see is possibility put to the graph some point (for example diameter 1/10 inches, with tail from left to right – and at the end of tail should be price for this point. This I cane use as a moment where I would like to get in (position) and out (as a stop or target).
Will be great to have chance to change color for this point and tail.
Working Telechart team on something simile? Thank you.

Iryna, Have you had a chance to read through my Friday, March 24, 2006 6:05:15 PM post and the entry I referenced from the Online Help Files?
I can't find anything about the Nasdaq Cumulative Tick, but the Nasdaq Short Term Trade Index was mentioned in that post (which even has the same symbol as TN) and the referenced help file includes three Advance Decline lines. Here's are the Advance/Decline lines I found by typing "DECL" in the Company Name Search:
$AMAD - AMEX Advance Decline $NSAD - NASDAQ Advance Decline $NYAD - NYSE Advance Decline T2100 - Advance / Decline Line T2125 - Nasdaq Adv/Decline T2126 - Nasdaq 100 Adv/decline T2128 - Russell 1000 Advance/Decline Line T2128 - Russell 2000 Advance/Decline Line T2129 - Russell 3000 Advance/Decline Line

There is no video on RSI. Craig thought about doing a video on RSI, but after doing a bunch of research and attempts at a video, he determined that it wasn't well suited for a video demonstration.
I think you should be able to find quite a bit of info on RSI if you searched the web using Google or any other search engine.

While I did not check RSI, if you have the Blocks 1.3 or 2.0 downloaded, there is a lot of help in the Help files.
Usually there is a listing of other web sites that explain various indicators and also references to books.
That should give you additional help in getting started in case you need more help on an Indicator.
I have also found that there are a lot of good books. Technical Analysis from A to Z by Achilis (in think that's the spelling) is a nice simple indicator by indicator walkthrough. Note there are two editions - the second covers more indicators, the first is often cheaper on ebay and other places. I don't know about postage to the CR.
