Topic: Dr Eric Wish from Tues Webinar and his Telechart Scan that he uses!
Posted: Thursday, April 15, 2010 9:24:23 AM
Dr Eric Wish was on the Worden webinar Tuesday night with Julia Ormond. He discussed his approach to the market and offered this scan with his PCF's detailed.

His screen set up:
#1 Price with 4 - 10 - 30 Day Moving Average
#2Voume with 50 Day Moving Average (I think)
#3MACD histogram 12,26,9 with STOC 10,4,4

http://wishingwealthblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/WebinarPCFs.pdf

He is a major proponent of Darvas and O'Neil and called himself a Trend Follower & Swing Trader. He uses Telechart for himself and in his class that he teaches on trading.

Hope this may help someone

This one looks pretty good right here above $21.30

May I ask how you determined an entry of $21.30?
I see the chart and would buy at the 19.57 level bouncing off bottom with a thought of resistance around 22.5-23 at top of bull flag, and keep a tight stop in case it did turn.
Or are you looking at getting a confirmation then looking at the high at the top of the chart 25-26?

And I'm going to google zanger. And just started to read about DeMark after the recent post.

Thanks for your help.

KUDOS! CHEERS! 2 KONG if anyone was in. All I did was watch after the fact.

Also, Thanks for all the post TD and explanations of how you look at stock. I had an opportunity to print many of them along with the charts and study them while I was faced with family challenges.

Many of you guys are really great teachers.

Thanks TobyDad for your anaylsis of RVBD and AGM and Apsll. I have printed all your charts and especially your timeline of events TD to elevalute your moves - buy signals - stops use of BB/TSV/LR30. AGM breakout pattern Apsll resistance line and break above.

I hope everyone who played made money and achieved their goal for that stock, because I could see how I could have. Also, by printing and studying your charts - it helps me analysis the scans better and make better decisions.

And Apsll - I apologize to you because after a scan I identitified RDN - and thought of posting it and didn't. It moved up - I got stopped out and didn't stay with it by moving it to an "in play" watchlist as TD mentioned and missed a big move. Chaulk it up to still learning!

Someone did post how to copy a TC chart and get it into the forum - I will have to find that info again.

Appreciate the information & lessons

This is great thread.

Even though my son is hockey fan, he and his geek & gamer friends are into curling - go figue. Curling is hot with all the blogging and forums. It still seems like shuffleboard on ice.

Just thoughts ... in no particular order ....

Looking at the TNX--X and the TYX--X ... it would seem that they are poised to move higher ...

And ... that would generally make for a stonger USD ... and the DXY0 doesn't look all that bad either ...

But ... a stronger USD wouldn't seem to favor much of rally in dollar based commodities ...

Most interesting comment, because Jim Farrish of Sectorexchange.com did the webinar last night and started off with the same observation about TNX-X & TYX-X. He then went on to draw a correlation to the mortgage etf & home builders etf. Don't believe in coincedence so it definitely bears watching.

Apsll Thanks for the indicator (spa) and I got it to work. Then I added Sochastic 5,3,3 (standard setting that came up) in the middle with the volitality indicator. WOW!

Maybe it was the colors but they move inversely to each other and I believe I can get us to seeing moves off TD chart set up quicker.

Only ran about 10-15 charts thru it but at this point I am going to keep using it along with TD chart set-up.
Please let me know if you think I'm on the right track?

Thanks!!

Apsll Thanks for the analysis. I don't trade this stock & I learned a hugh lesson from the 2 charts. Thanks for posting the second chart and the indepth work on your part.

Also, learned much from you and agm32(?) & david. The chart analysis between you guys sure helps me to learn and gives me some "bullets" to learn to use.
