It doesn't appear that one can right-click to see comparisons, etc on a Windows 8 touchscreen tablet. Is there a way of doing it and, if not, are there plans to make it compatible with Windows 8 tablets?

If you are running Windows 8 as opposed to Windows 8 RT, TC2000 will behave exactly the same as it would on a laptop or desktop.
If you are running Windows 8 RT, then you will be using the HTML5 version of TC2000 which does not have as many features as the Silverlight version of TC2000 which runs on a full version of Windows.
You will not have context sensitive menus which access TC2000 functionality available when you right-click in the HTML version of TC2000. You will not be able to do any sort of editing in the HTML version of TC2000. It is pretty much limited to displaying WatchLists and charts which you have already created in the Silverlight version of TC2000.
Your best option if you want the full functionality of the Silverlight version and you are running Windows 8 RT would probably be to install remote desktop software of some sort to remotely access another computer that is capable of running the Silverlight version of TC2000.

I am not running Windows RT. I am running full Windows 8 with Silverlight and downloaded the application to my computer. It's fine when the tablet is connected to the keyboard because it has a touchpad, but when in tablet mode, there is no keypad so I can't right-click. With many applications, holding down your finger for a few seconds brings up a box that gives additional functionality. Unfortunately, the whole application isn't compatible with a touch screen - no ability to zoom-in, zoom-out using the touchscreen. I don't care that much about that but I would like to be able to reach the items on the menus you get by right-clicking and I don't see any other way to get to them.

I understand what you are asking now. The desktop version of TC2000 version 12.3 wasn't really designed to run on a tablet and that feature is not currently built in (we've tested it in-house and it doesn't work here either).
We will be adding touch support and are getting computers with touch screens in development to help facilitate the process. That said, I do not have a specific time table on when touch screen features will be added to the full Silverlight version of TC2000.

Thanks. Good answer. Wasn't sure if I were a doofus or not. Just wanted to make you aware if you weren't.
