Are there more Easy Scans available than what originally comes with TC2007?

There have been quite a few EasyScans and Personal Criteria Formulas posted in the forums beyond the examples that originally come with TeleChart, but there is no compiled list of these EasyScans available. You would need to search for individual topics to find them.

Hello, I have been using worden for a couple of months and am slowly getting use to all the tools.
I am having trouble with dr. Elders force index. I got the formula from the tradeon site, but i get
a "boolean error" message every time i try to employ the formula.
I amnot sure what boolean means so i am stumpedat the moment.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and any advice is welcomed.

Boolean basically means True or False, so a Boolean formula will return either True or False.
When you are Plotting Custom Indicators, Boolean Formulas are used as the Boolean Formula in a Custom Percent True Indicator and as the Up Condition and Down Condition in a Custom Cumulative Indicator. All of these three fields must use Boolean formulas or they will return an error.
All of the other formula used in Custom Indicators must return a value instead (or they will return an error).

I followed your instructions about otaining a list of easy scans but was unable to find the list

There is no compiled list of all of the EasyScans every created in the forums. You would need to search for EasyScans (or for terms related to the specific EasyScan desired).

If you want to find if this has been created previously, you could search set to Match All Words for:
dividend EasyScan

As far as creating the EasyScan itself:
- Select New | New EasyScan.
- Change the WatchList to Scan to Standard and Poors 500 Component Stocks.
- Select Add New Condition | Dividend Yield.
- Adjust the EasyScan Rangefinder to List Rank: some arbitrary Percentile of your choice to Max.
- Select OK.
- Select Save.
- Give the EasyScan a name and select OK.

You don't even need a scan for that. Just set your watchlist to the S&P 500 Components and set the Sort to Dividend Yield.
