I use the PCF below to plot the PP Count. Is it possible to make the indicator plot only if Vol surge is > by 1.5 times the 30 day avg
If V / AVGV30 > 1.5 Then plot below
You could just put that whole fomula between the commas in the following.

Not bad considering I never heard of Pocket Pivots a half-hour ago.

PP are great buy points in leading uptrending stocks.
They offer a lower entry level as the stcoks is resuming higher after a consolidation phase. You don;t have to wait for a breakout to a new high like CANSLIM and also it offers a lower risk entry level in case the signal fails.
Of course since you are buying at the earliest sign of resumption of accumulation yo may exprience more failures then waiting to see multiple high volume accumulation days on the right side of the base which is what O'Neil suggest as more confirmation of buying by the big players
But in my opinion the standrad base breakouts have been failing in the last few years so PP are far better
If I have multiple indicatprs in the same pane in TC how do I make one be the front and be on top of all others
In SF we can right click and select bring to the front so if two indicators are overlapping each other the one in front will show
In this case I actually want to make Price be the front in TC. Is that possible

TC2000 just plots the indicators on the chart going from left to right with each indicator plotting overtop all of the previous indicators.
There isn't a built in way to shift the indicators left and right besides removing and re-adding indicators.
If what you want is price to be on top, you would generally need to do this by adding a second price plot to the same pane and scale as the main price indicator.
Re: Pocket Pivots, let's take a look at an amazing performer over the last year, the biotech stock IMMU.
Five days ago on August 17, 2017, IMMU shows a Pocket Pivot and continues with Pocket Pivots on each subsequent days thru today.
Had one entered on the Close on August 17, the return thru now (10:21 EST) would be 28.57 percent.

When I add Pocket Pivot as a Column, I'm using a 5-minute Timeframe which matches the minimum 5-minute Refresh Rate.
The Column produces either zeros or numerical values which can vary from one stock to another.
Please explain the meaning of these numerical values, Bruce.
A Pocket Pivot is an up day with higher volume than all of the down days over the previous 10 bars.
You could define the Pocket Pivot as an upday with higher volume than all of the down days over the previous x bars instead.
The PP Count indicator is designed to return x.
The highest Pocket Pivot value I have on an Easy Scan is URI at 37. If the PP formula is looking back over ten days, then why would a value such as 37 for URI, exceed 10?
Because it is using the alternate definition where it is looking at x days instead of 10 days and returning x.
So, it's looking at 63 days?
Yes, it maxes out at 63 bars.
What the diff between your original PCF on the PP vs teh one you posted on Thursday, August 24, 2017 1:57:05 PM for Traderlady
It checked for there being a PP today and not being a PP yesterday. Otherwise it returns zero.

In TC is there anyway I can plot the last value in a diff color than the scale itself?
I plot the PP count on its own scale overlayed with Price so the indicator has its own scale in white and the last value is in while as well. I like to change that
No, there isn't a way to change it like in StockFinder.

The short versions only works in TC2000 v17 and is a shorter version of the longer formula which will work in earlier versions as well.
You can just change the 10 in the shorter formula to adjust how many bars it looks back to confirm it as a Pocket Pivot.

I would love to see them add a Volatility Stop as VST or something in PCF so we can just reference it in a formula
Just like ATR now calculates ATR and you donlt need to write the entire formula they should add other indicators as well

Now I like to add a few more pieces
(Price needs to close up 0.33 * ATR22 and also 0.33%
and
Volume surge > AvgV30
L / ABS(C >= C1 + 0.33 * ATR22 AND C / C1 >= 1.033 AND V > AVGV30 AND V > MAX(ABS(C1 < C2) * V1, 10))

The 1.033 in your formula is 3.3%. If you want 0.33%, you would want to use 1.0033 instead.

Bruce I also like to add C >= L + 0.50 * ATR22 AND C / L >= 1.0050 so the stock will screen through if Either one of these two are correct in the PP PCF

Either price is up from yesterday's close by 0.33 ATR and 0.33% or price is up from todays low by 0.5 ATR and 0.5%
You need more parentheses because OR comes before AND in the order of operations.

I tried to create a condition with the PCF below and it say the pcf doesn't return a boolean result
My goal is to screen for stocks or use it as a wacthlist column so it would show a checl mark when the condition is true
The Boolean portion is inside the ABS() function.

Just like the PP count indicator above I need a pcf that plots the count of the number of days that today's volume is higher than in the last 63 days
The pcf needs to plot it only on up days and if todays vol is higer than all volume days (Up and Down Days) in the last 25 then the indicator will plot 25 if higher than last 42 then it will plot 42. Just like the PP Count indicator it should go up to 63
The current PP Count is comparing the today's vol vs the vol of the down days. this new pcf should compare todays vol vs all days
