It is hard to give any tip, there are many ways how to incorporate Ichimoku in trading.

I can recommend following book: http://www.amazon.com/Cloud-Charts-Trading-Ichimoku-Technique/dp/0956517102/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1390330502&sr=8-2&keywords=ichimoku.

There are also good educational videos on Youtube done by Manesh Patel.

If you add the Ichimoku Cloud indicator to your chart, you can create basic conditions by clicking on Price History and selecting Create Scan Condition. This will only allow you to create conditions for the current bar however.

I do trade using the Ichimoku with the default settings, and also use the settings as 18, 52, 104, instead of the 9, 16, 52, obtaining great results. Also use a -DI and +Di and ADX indicator combination, and the Squeeze, all taken from this forum, and reference to You Tube videos.

This have resulted for me in better results when trading with any other indicators.

The following topic has Indicator Formulas for all of lines in an Ichimoku Cloud at the points in times where you would most likely want values for those lines.
