Well, reading over this and see how many false alarms I signaled is, at best, humbling; at worst, mortifying. 3crows, thank you for all your hard work for the forum. I've looked these links over and am going to now crawl under my desk and spend the rest of the day in the fetal position. :D

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
diceman indicator and HNC/diceman.

Comes from a post about Guppy multiple moving averages.

The diceman indicator measures how tight the averages are.
(HNC was the one who originated the post)

info can be found here:

http://forums.worden.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=44432

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
VPCI used volume weighted moving averages vs simple averages
to measure volume.

VPCI:

http://forums.worden.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=23716

http://forums.worden.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=23412

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fan-Pattern was related to moving averages being in order.
In an up-trend the fastest (shortest period) being on top
and the longest period on bottom.
Averages would spread out like a fan.

A Worden knight Sir-Fan Pattern also considered the days
above the 50 day moving average.
(stronger stocks would be above longer)

Fan-Pattern:

MACD100/MACD-H comes from hohandy.
You do a visual sort on the MACD histogram.
The ones that are 100 are at their highest value today.
Those are the ones you focus on for trades.

Thanks for the list Diceman. It brings back memories of those days. I remember in April of 2008 trying to convince everyone that DUG was forming a nice bonanza bottom. That one payed off big time....

We are going to have to start refering to you now as the Cleric...........

I am going to have to go through the whole list of links... I love nostalgia...
