Am trying to learn how to use this. In trying to create a simple backscan, or so I thought, the results are nothing. In lieu of entering the steps I took let me just tell what I am trying to do and hopefully you can tell me how to write the scan.
Simply, down 2 days in a row followed by a gap up on a volume surge. I thought this would be easy. Wrong!

I'll post something for you to look at soon. It appears that there is a bug in the Value Offsetter block which I need for the Price vs. Price condition.

Save the attached condition set to your ..\\My Documents\My SnapSheets\Tool Parts\BackScanner Conditions folder, then create a new scan and add this condition.

I recently subscribed to Backscanner, however, I haven't been able to get it into the Block Player. When I signed up, the instructions stated that it was already pre-built into the Blocks Player, but it isn't there. Is there a way to add it to the Blocks Player? When I go to the various video tutorials, they are all for the Snap Sheets platform. I know that they are very similar, but there are some differences, i.e. no handles on the frames. I figured out that in order to dock a frame, you have to first choose the option to "dock to frame" for the docking tool to come up when you move the window. Overall, I really like the possibilities of the software, the Worden standard and "bang for your buck" pricing. Please keep up the good work.

The extension for a BackScan Condition did not change although the location where it would be stored did. The following utility will only rename and move files located in your ..\\My Documents\My SnapSheets\.. folders. They will be moved to ..\My Documents\Blocks Files\...

You can run the conversion utility anytime you want from:

http://www.blocks.com/install/snapstoblocks.exe

There are two significant file extension changes:

.ssh files are now .bWorks files and reside in the Workspaces folder
.snapin files are now .bTool files and reside in the Tools folder

Simply renaming the extensions of either of these file types will enable them to work in the Blocks Player as well. So if you have files that don't get picked up by the conversion utility you can move and rename them manually later on.

I show BackScan service on your account, so I'm unsure BackScanner would not show. Please contact technical support.
