why TC2000 has some considerable latency when scanning for gaping stocks? some gaping stocks are showing very late in the morning instead of showing in the first few minutes after market open.

How are you defining "gapping" stocks? The Gappers pre-built condition returns Gap Up when the low is higher than the previuos high and Gap Down when the high is lower than the previous low.

I am defining gap up through PCF such as O-C1 > 0.50

Do you have any other conditions in the scan? For example, if you have a volume condition, this may not be met until later in the trading day. If you have gap conditions for both net and percent gaps, one of these might be met later in the trading day than the other.

Bruce;

yes I do and I have verified those other conditions via columns representing those conditions in a watch list. the curent daily volume could be the issue. I will adjust the volume requirments to exclude today's volume and test it next week. I will use AvgV30.1  instead  AvgV30. am I correct?

Yes, eliminate anything that is just "volume" or just "V" and change AVGV30 to AVGV30.1. That should make it so you aren't waiting for the volume of the current trading day to affect the formula.
