I have tried to create a condition for my scans looking for this months close is above last months close
i have tried both c>c1 and c>c.1 with the timescale set to monthly in both the condition creation and my chart window. So far im having problems with it in that it is returning a lot of stocks whic are quite clearly lower closes. What am i doing wrong here?

Can you provide an example? The monthly time frame uses calendar months so right now C1 is the close on 9/29/2017

ok it appears to have been my fault i had set the chart to display heiken ashe and not normal candle sticks , sorry about that
