I have a basic scan set up that brings me all stocks trading  in my price range with over 100k volume.

But what I would like to do is be able to remove certain types of stocks like REITS and Closed End Debt.

Is there a way to write that in to a scan?

Thanks

Steve

There are no built in Conditions which would allow you to eliminate REITS and Closed End Debt symbols from a WatchList within an EasyScan.

You need to have WatchList as th List to Scan in your EasyScan which does not have these symbols in it. This may mean you need to create a Personal WatchList without these symbols.

You may wish to review the following topic for information on how to create a Personal WatchList based on the US Common Stocks WatchList which eliminates Closed End Funds.

Exclude Closed End Funds

The basic technique would apply to creating any Personal WatchList which is based on a System WatchList but excludes certain categories of symbols.
