Is there a way on both of the indicators to make the "trigger" line to be dashed or dotted. That way the MACD/Stochastic and the trigger line could be the same color and it would be easy to distinguish which was which?

When you say trigger line, do you mean the 20 and 80 lines in stochastics, for instance?
If so, you cannot make those lines dotted or dashed.
Let me know if I understood correctly. Then I'll submit this as a suggestion.

Doug, sorry for not making my question more specific. The "trigger" lines I was referring to is the moving average of the MACD and the SD line in Stochastics.

Well...unfortunately, the answer is the same, crowbar! With Stochastics, for instance, the SK and SD lines will always be the same draw style. I will make sure and submit your suggestion to provide the capability of making the trigger line a different draw style.
Now, of course, the only way to make them clearly different is to use different colors.

crowbar , Since the ‘trigger’ line in both MACD and Stochastics is just a Moving Average, you could set the Average Period in MACD or the SD Period in Stochastics to 1 and then add a Moving Average as a child indicator. You are then free to set the Draw Color and Draw Style of the ‘trigger’ line to your liking.

Bruce,
That's a great suggestion. I'm still getting comfortable with all this and appreciate your suggestion.
