The excellent webinar with Larry Connors used the RSI with a period of 2. Mr Worden said this could be calculated in Telechart but I have not been able to do that. Could you explain how to so that and be able to search for stocks that are below 2 and above 98. Thank you.

The following formula:
PCF Formula Descriptions
RSI2
Is designed to match a Wilder's RSI with the following settings:
- RSI Period: 2
- Use Wilders Smoothing: Unchecked
- Avg Period: 1
- Average Type: Doesn't matter (because the Avg Period is 1)
While the following formula Is designed to match a Wilder's RSI with the following settings instead (the difference is that Use Wilders Smoothing is Checked):
- RSI Period: 2
- Use Wilders Smoothing: Checked
- Avg Period: 1
- Average Type: Doesn't matter (because the Avg Period is 1)
Cascades of Moving Averages
50 * (C - XAVGC3.1) / 2 / (.500030519440884 * (ABS(C - C1) + .5 * (ABS(C1 - C2) + .5 * (ABS(C2 - C3) + .5 * (ABS(C3 - C4) + .5 * (ABS(C4 - C5) + .5 * (ABS(C5 - C6) + .5 * (ABS(C6 - C7) + .5 * (ABS(C7 - C8) + .5 * (ABS(C8 - C9) + .5 * (ABS(C9 - C10) + .5 * (ABS(C10 - C11) + .5 * (ABS(C11 - C12) + .5 * (ABS(C12 - C13) + .5 * (ABS(C13 - C14)))))))))))))))) + 50
You could add < 2 to the end of the appropriate formula to find symbols where the 2-Period RSI is less than 2 or add > 98 to the end to find symbols where it as above 98 instead.

In general, formulas with Wilder's Smoothing and an Average Period besides 1 are too long to be practical. Because both the RSI Period and Average Period are short however, you might want to try the following:
