I clicked on "Reports"-"Today's Price" and obtained a report.
How can I output this report as a text file, so that I can use
Excel spreadsheet to process them? I am interested in the column
of % Change.

Thanks,

Kenny

Here is a video on Exporting. You cannot export the report but you can export data and calculate the change in Excel.

Exporting data to text format - comma, space or tab delimited

You CAN export the report. The method is a bit tedious but becomes simple after done a few times. You will need MS Office. In Microsoft Windows XP, on the Windows Start menu, point to All Programs, point to Microsoft Office, point to Microsoft Office Tools, and then click Microsoft Office Document Imaging. You may need to install it from the Office CD. Then, in TC, Reports>Todays Prices (OR Watch List Tracking). In the Today's Prices window, click Report>Print Setup. In print setup, in "Name:" dropdown menu, choose Microsoft Office Document Image Writer. OK. SEE "IMPORTANT!" at bottom. Click Report>Print. It will prompt you to save the doc and will then open the report in MSODIW. Then Tools > Recognize Text Using OCR. In MSODIW window, select the column you wish to export by dragging the red box around it. Be certain all the data in that one column is highlighted (Only select ONE column.) Then, Right click selection >copy, and paste to the desired column in Excel. Simple! Double check all entries to make sure OCR got it right. !NOTE 1: You can only copy/paste one column at a time, and from one page at a time in MSODIW (the tedious part). NOTE 2: You can use the Export To Text feature in TC to create a "Base Spreadsheet", then add data from any Sort column by creating new reports. !IMPORTANT!: If you wish to export (copy/paste, actually) columns from multiple reports, ALWAYS sort by the same column (Company Name or Symbol will work best) in TODAY'S PRICES window, otherwise the data will not be in the proper order! NOTE 3: This method can be used with Today's Prices report OR Watch List Tracking. If you have any problems, use Office Help or post here and I'll try to help. Good luck, wluroc. btw, does your name have a meaning?
