Hi all,

I know that everyone has some great stocks to look at on Monday and this is a stong sector, but I can't find anything bad with NVDA. Although I'm not good with candlesticks, it looks like a hammer to me. Maybe it will pull back a bit and the 5-240 EMA will consolidate more?

Very good find Vinzer, This also looks good on the signaltap Template. Great volume OBV rising, all the Moving averages lined up in perfect harmoney for a great run. Kudos to you for getting it...

Apsll,

Thanks for the confirmation.
Actually I should of named the thread - diceman scan / havenocents template.

I did an easyscan on "Above Average Earnigs Momentum" with diceman's formula. As you can guess I got great hits. Sure is a lot of great information on this site.

If I can ask how did you do that?  What pcf did you use for the Earnings Momentum?

Oh I was going to say ... you may not get your pullback.

1/2 an eavening star can also turn into a few resting days in a momentum run.  If this were on my radar and I got another small range day like the previous candle I'd enter on the break above  the higher of the 2 - 3 candles and use the lowest doji low as an exit point (subtract a tad).

Diceman what components make up your "Above Average Earnigs Momentum".  I did a search and could find anything?

It's in the link that I posted, scroll down to Thursday, January 18, 2007 10:29:27 PM for the custom indicator formula.

or where you asking for?:

The "Above Average Earnigs Momentum" pops up in the easy scan window.

I misunderstood scotanlena's post in the "Above Average Earnings Momentum" was a diceman formula.

I think I confused him, I do that a lot.

FWIW, I'm not getting in to this stock. I'm going to work with $2.5k ( I hope it's not bad etiquette to quote personal numbers here ) for a while and with what is left in the capital that I have in reserve I didn’t see this as cost/risk/return effective. So today I added in RFMD & LVLT @ 50% of what I have allocated for them. And I’m glad that I only went half. With that I have SOLF, RIO and SBP.

I imagine 5 stocks is the top or maybe too many stocks for me right now, but I really like shipping and want to get in there. And that was before you know who talked about that sector today. Can we use the “C” word here?

Anyway, thanks to everyone.

I hope this helps, if I misslead ya sorry. I've been up until 3am looking at charts the last 4 nights. I'll go to bed and then something pops into my head. This can be addictive.

I just right click in the middle window and then click on easyscan:

Then this window pops up and I click on "Above Ave. Ern. Mo."

I think it's canned condition, if not here it is.

Nice scan!  Thanks for the wonderful discussion.

Speaking of HNC, where is he these days?  Always loved his insight and experience...

You may select easy scans from the tool box also, as it is a canned scan on my system.
