question can you look at the formula for RSMS and let me know when i put it in do i have to include the + sign thats inbetween the formulas thanks

I don't know what "RSMS" means. Are you referencing Sir Epiphany's "RS Indicator" from the Worden Report of Friday, July 20,2007?
If so, the Personal Criteria Formula in the Worden Report will produce a syntax error if it is cut and pasted directly from the report. It should work correctly if you type it out manually or copy it from the forums however. Here's a shorter version of the formula:
(C / C63 + C / C126 + C / C190 - 3) * 100

I cannot add anything that was not already said in the Daily Worden Report and am unaware of any examples of the formula being used elsewhere.
You may send an email to Sir Epiphany's attention at support@worden.com to get further clarification from the author. These emails are forwarded and you should receive a response (at least from us). All e-mail communication sent to support@worden.com during business hours (Monday through Friday 9AM-11PM and Saturday and Sunday 9AM-3PM ET) should be answered within 20 minutes of arrival.
After Mr. Worden publishes an article, many times other customers have questions that can only be answered by the author of the article. We do not give out anyone’s email address or other personal information, rather, we will just forward their email on to the appropriate person. The individual may or may not choose to respond directly to you.

It is essentially the 3 month, 6 month, and 9 month returns added together. The fact that it triple weights the 3 month (the 3 month is part of the 6 and 9 month returns) it places more emphasis on recent performance. I can then look at this one number and compare funds. I will then look at the RS Indicator for the S&P 500. Those funds with a greater number will be the funds I focus on.
I don't ignore those with an RS Indicator that is less than the market, as I might come across a group of funds that are getting close to a positive RSMA crossover.
As a Personal Criteria Formula, it can be used as an EasyScan Condition or as a Sort. It's value can be displayed in a Watchlist Column or in the Data Bar. I really cannot add anything else on how it should be used. The trainers cannot give settings, interpretation or investment advice.
