Customer Training » Product Help/Tutorial Videos » Scanning for Hammers with Candlestick PCFs

There you get the pcf for a hammer just invert the settings on the slide on the side and you have a good shooting star. I also added the gap up pcf. Works well!

futures: Here is the PCF provided within the past few weeks by (removed by Moderator). They can provide you with a PCF for just about any candle pattern you might be interested in having. I hope this helps.

Shooting Star
(((H-L)>4*(O-C))AND((H-C)/(.001+H-L)>= 0.75)AND((H-O)/(.001+H-L)
>=0.75))

Be sure to check out the video Doug linked above. I believe you will find the method there to be far more flexible than the PCF posted above. It will also set you up for other candle patterns in the future without having to create a new PCF.

Hi Craig: Thanks for posting the video link to the Hammer/Hanging Man configuration. I watched the video and I personally find your method highly flexible and a much better approach to developing code for candlesticks. Also, I will refrain from including links to outside sites in future posts.

Ya got that right....

May your trailing stops never trigger?

Guess that is the best I can come up with....
