Hello,
Tried "search" for all forums - but every time I received 0 results - sorry if answers already posted...very likely as you have so much good info here. BTW, looking to get TC Platinum before the deal expires in April...
1) Can real-time charting/scanning/etc be used during pre-market and after hours times? For example, can a scan be used to find "gappers" before market opens - in real-time?
2) News data/sources - are they close to real-time such as you might get from subscription services like briefing or theflyonthewall, and include things like IPOs?

The news is streaming and should be similar to the sources you listed above.

The description on the website reads:

So does platinum have data pre and post market or not?

The bid and ask bars on the chart update in pre- and post- market, but the prices do not.
