I have tried to use the search feature and rarely get any hits. So, can you help me with a PCF to calculate daily beta?

We cannot scan for BETA using the PCF language.

What Beta are you searching for? Have you tried the BETA condition already in your system?

Is it the only condition in your EasyScan?

Have you reviewed this video: Using EasyScan to find stocks that meet your own criteria

Thanks Craig. I do use the Beta condition in the system which i understand is updated weekly (on Saturday).

Any suggestions on the search issue? I've entered several items (e.g. MACD, beta, stohastics, etc.) and rarely get any hits?

I have no what of knowing what is causing you to get no hits.

Look at your EasyScan. See the count? Which condition is dropping your count the most?

Edit your EasyScan. Give me each condition, the value and rank limits, and the counts. See what I can figure out from there.

I mis-stated. When i select search at the top right of this page (forum) and enter MACD then search, i get no hits.

Here are some resources for you....

These two videos are informative AND both have PCF templates under them to work from:

Understanding MACD

Understanding Stochastics

These videos will be good resources for learning PCFs:

How to create a Personal Criteria Forumula (PCF)

Constructing more versatile and reusable Personal Criteria Formulas

Let me know if any other questions arise.
