I have recently upgraded to Telechart platinum 2007 from 2005 V. The general update does not take much time at all. Infact the PCF's ( 9 pcf's in total) take about about 15- 20 minutes to get updated. How can I Speed up this process ( PCF updates).

I am using Windows 2000 operating system.

Outside of upgrading to a newer machine you can choose not to update PCFs using over 200 days of data. It is the second check box in the update screen.

There were no changes to the PCF calculation process in TC2007. Are you saying the process slowed down after the upgrade? With no new PCFs being added?

Strange. I'd have to take a look at the PCFs and test them to determine the cause. If you want, you can export them to a file and email it to support@worden.com Attn: StockGuy, and I'll take a look. I can drop them on a machine with 2005 and one with 2007 to compare. Don't see why they would be different performance-wise but I can check it out.

Checking with support on this. I've seen this error come across in the support logs so they may have a solution.

I've never had snapsheets work beyond the login window and I'm running Windows XP home version. The only thing that does work on snapsheets is the cancel button on the login window. Great program guys!

I'm having the watchlist crashing problem on the telecharts program too. I click on the "Custom Date Sort" button in the menu drop down list and absolutely nothing happens. The old program worked just fine. I downloaded and installed the new version and now it craps out. Great improvement, are your software coders your friends or are they your enemies? Did they get a pay reduction or something? How many customers have you lost so far?

Maybe it's another case of getting what you pay for. Ablesys charges $1500 per year lease to use their charting software, it's not fancy, but you know what when I login it just works. Let's see $29.99 times 12 months is $359.88 and it doesn't work. $1500 divided by 12 is $125.00 per month and it gives you buy and sell signals, hmm where are the buy and sell signals in Telecharts? Probably being held hostage by the coders.

TeleChart was designed for you to generate your own ideas and your own buy and sell signals. If you are looking for software that tells you what to buy and sell, TeleChart is not designed for you.
