I've seen some products that offer Elliott Wave indicators. Does Telechart offer this feature?

Thanks

There are no Elliott Wave tools in the TeleChart program.

I did find this by using the forum's search function:

Any Elliott Wave students here?

You too can search these forums for anything. Watch this short video on how to get the most from these forums:

There is a decent way to find potential completion of wave 2's. Put a 50 day regression line on your price chart and then sort it by visual slope.

Check stocks which have a slight regression line upward movement. I check from 1.09 down to 1.01. You have to go through a few stocks, but you will find some great potential stocks just starting wave 3.

The above was for finding wave 2 uptrends. Wave 2 downtrends can be found by using .99 to .91.

You can also find stocks in wave 3 or wave 5 doing a pcf which finds stocks where the moving averages are ALL in line.

Price is greater than 50ma and price is greater than 100ma and price is greater than 150ma and 50ma is greater than 100ma and AND 50ma is greater than 150ma and 100ma greater than 150ma.

HaveNoCents...how accurate is your "finding stocks in wave 3 or 5 pcf" and how would the pcf appear in reverse (locate wave 3 or 5 in a down trend) ? Can you post a few recent symbols found using your pcf.

Craig S,

joneskx,
Price is greater than 50ma and price is greater than 100ma and price is greater than 150ma and 50ma is greater than 100ma and AND 50ma is greater than 150ma and 100ma greater than 150ma is not a Personal Criteria Formula, it is a description of a PCF. It can be written as a PCF using one of the following:

Simple Moving Averages:

C > AVGC50 AND C > AVGC100 AND C > AVGC150 AND AVGC50 > AVGC100 AND AVGC50 > AVGC150 AND AVGC100 > AVGC150

Exponential Moving Averages:

C > XAVGC50 AND C > XAVGC100 AND C > XAVGC150 AND XAVGC50 > XAVGC100 AND XAVGC50 > XAVGC150 AND XAVGC100 > XAVGC150

These can be simplified to the following however:

Simple Moving Averages:

C > AVGC50 AND AVGC50 > AVGC100 AND AVGC100 > AVGC150

Exponential Moving Averages:

C > XAVGC50 AND XAVGC50 > XAVGC100 AND XAVGC100 > XAVGC150

As far as how well these might work for identifying Waves 3 and 5, I cannot say. The trainers can't give setting, interpretation or investment advice. You may wish to review the following:
