Hi:

Does anyone know if there exists scans that find bullish or bearish
divergence using TSV in the last X days?

Thanks,

dctommy

dctommy,

Suppose we define a Positive TSV Divergence over X days to occur when there is Price depreciation over the X days and net share accumulation, as measured by TSV, over the X days. A form for a PCF for a Positive TSV Divergence over X days is then:

(TSVX>0)AND(C<CX)

For example, if X is 9 days, then the PCF is:

(TSV9>0)AND(C<C9)

Similarily, for a Negative TSV Divergence over 9 days, the PCF is:

(TSV9<0)AND(C>C9)

There is of course no assurance that one would be interested in a TSV Divergence over the last 9 days for a particular stock.

Thanks,
Jim Murphy
