I have seen several references to Zack. What is it and how do I access it. I have tried to search Yahoo with no success.

I also have a question. Looking for an earnings sight I tried firstcall but I don't think what I got is what I wanted. "Cents" seems to use earning posts as a bouy, or something to watch for.I know you can't post links however am I going in the right direction and keep trying firstcall?

I use Briefing search for instant earnings reports, but it's subscription based. Some smaller stocks don't provide earnings dates, but what I do in that case is go to Yahoo Finance, enter ticker, recent or archived news, and find last earnings report and add three months, lol. But it works.

I have tried just about anything at one time or another and let me tell you. If you are looking for pure raw data, presented in a marvelous way, and presented earlier than any other source (and that applies well to income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements) then you go to the wallstreet journal on line. Zacks is a jog, as most ranking services. IBD would be fine if they updated their ranking more often, but they don't. Neither one of the lattest have any good data. Briefing is ok, buy CBSMarketwatch surpases them overall as a free service. I wouldn't pay for Briefin, not even their silver package for $10/month. You go to CBSMarketwatch and can get better info for free if you know how. Take my advise, I have been in the investing/trading community since 1992, and Wallstreet Journal has evolved into the best source on line, their news are good too. good luck
