Hi!
I just watched the EZ scan video and noticed you can select whether to scan for optionable stocks. I was wondering if there is a way to set the scan to pick only stocks that are non-optionable (optionable-false)?

I do not know of a way to do this, Karen. There is no scan condition you can use, and I can't think of a way using flagging to make it work either. If I'm missing something, I'm sure someone will pipe up with a solution.

WatchLists are sets of Items represenyed by Symbols. The WatchList algebra in TC2005 is complete in the sense that any set operation can be replicated by operations on WatchLists.
Karen,
A Nonoptionable Stocks WatchList can be constructed as follows:
1) First place the All Stocks WatchList in a Personal WatchList called Nonoptionable Stocks.
2) Construct an EasyScan called Optionable Stocks of all optionable stocks in the All Stocks WatchList.
3) Flag all in the Optionable Stocks WatchList.
4) Remove all flaged Items from the Nonoptionable Stocks WatchList.

I´d like to trade the opening gaps.
How can I scan (real time) for stocks that have gapped at the opening(for example scanning at 9.35 EST)or much better already during the pre-market.
Is it possible??

Scanning in TeleChart is not real-time. If you have the Platinum Service you can find opening gaps as soon as the market starts trading by using the Real Time Sorting. You sort any list of stocks at the market open by Price Percent Change in RT and any gappers will be at the top and bottom of your list.

Hello i have a problem. Please help me i don't know what is happening: when i want to create a new Easy Scan and for example a new condition is "Price per share" and edit the condition in the condition Type i choose Value, and when i select my range for example: 40 to Max and save the scan, it doesn't make the changes, and in the range appears 40 to 3. i don't want that range and if i select the range again, the same happens. why i can put my range 40 to Max, and the software is not accepting that range and is doing what he wants.
my user is gallo2000sv and i'm using telechar gold version.

how do you do this step ?
3. Go into the easy scan setup and put in line one “All in System”
4. Line 2, “optionable”
5. Save the easy scan and calculate the easy scan.

If you are creating a new EasyScan, select New | New EasyScan.
If you have an existing EasyScan, select Edit EasyScan icon (hand writing on paper) to the right of the EasyScan in the Watchlist drop-down menu.

If it is an existing EasyScan, single left-click on the first line and select All Items in System.

Select Add New Condition | Optionable Stocks.

Select Save.
QUOTE (oliabph) ...and calculate the easy scan.
It should automatically ask to calculate your Personal Criteria Formulas if this is required. To update your PCFs manually select Databank | Personal Criteria Formulas | Update All Criteria. You will want to verify that you are updating for All Items in System and that Include criteria which require more than 250 days of data (slower) are checked.

Hello...i am new to Telechart...how do i make a scan to find stock selling between $5-$50, with increase volume vs prior day and closed higher then last previous trading session with Stochastic trending up

I've watched the video for scanning the Russell 3000 and all is wokring well, however I would like to add additional scans. I would like to include a scan for open volume in the hundreds, and open interest over 1000. Is this possible?
