Bruce

I had worked out the RSI formula

I am trying to set up a seperate condition from RSI for

Moving average with a period of 5 with a value of 0 and or 100 by itself to show up in different column after scan

I tried following for value of 0

AvgC5 = 0

AvgC (AvgC5) = 0

but got no results for either

One stock that should have shown yesterday up for example with a value of 0 is VHC with settings on chart of Simple moving average period of 5

Thanks again

Jeff

I am trying to set up 2 formalas that I can add in columns  that will show as checked when conditions are met

I am using daily charts  and want to identify the following after the close of each day

1) RSI using a period of 2 with a value of 0 and or 100

I tried the following     RSI ( RSI,2 ) = 0 or 100 I also tried 0 and 100 seperately

and

2 ) Moving average with a period of 5 with a value of 0 and or 100

Any help please

Also I enquired about being able to add different coloured flags to platform so can easily identify  after new scans options that I'm trading, not intersted in , have checked out, by there sectors etc, etc Your office was going to forward to your it people and was wondering if anything in the pipeline yet

Thanks

Jeff

Hi

I have just run scan using following formula

(MAXH60 - MINL60) / (AVGH60 - AVGL60) * 100 and

AVGC30 / AVGC30.30

as per formula on video posted 7th Jan 2005 in your discussion forum and it came with all 5,800 odd stocks in US common stocks

The video said to give

(MAXH60 - MINL60) / (AVGH60 - AVGL60) * 100

a ranking of 50 or less to identiy consolidating stocks so I tried the following

(MAXH60 - MINL60) / (AVGH60 - AVGL60) * 100 =< 50 and

AVGC30 / AVGC30.30

but the scan came up with no results

I have not included the other 2 formulas on video for indicator etc as i am trying to get some results from initial scan

Any help please as to what I have done wrong or is this dormula outdated due to upgrades with platform

Thanks Jeff

Thanks for engulfing body formula

I would now like to identify stocks that are moving or have moved 15% or more in dollar value either from a high or low over the last x number of days or weeks

15% is just a starting figure as will try 20% etc plus try different time frames

The scan I tried ( price percentage change 30 day ) only seemed to identify stocks on the upside

Thanks Jeff

please forward formulas for followig ror daily charts

1 ) engulfing body in general

2 ) Bullish engulfing

3 ) Bearish engulfing

The formula I tried included wicks that were both higher and lower than previous body in scans I tried and as such is not an engulfing body

Thanks

Jeff

Could you please forward me a formula for following:

( Todays volume is x% greater than yesterday )

I know volume will be V and V1 , greater is >, but can not work out percentage or value

I put x% above as I want to test varying values ie; 100%, 50%, 200% etc.

Thankyou

Jeff
