What is your particular specific unambiguous objective definition of an ascending or descending channel?

how would you scan for a stock thats consolidating on the 5 min intraday time frame, you usually find that set up when a stock is consolidating

The best topic of which I am aware on posting images in the forums is Inserting A Chart into A Worden post.

That said, while an image can be a good illustration of an objective definition, it is not in and of itself a definition. We need to come up with something that isn't subjective (you know it when you see it).

I really don't know the specifics of the pattern you are attempting to identify.

PCF or Scan for Trending Channel.
Boolean PCFs for Candlestick Patterns
