Add a Moving Average to the Chart and adjust its settings as desired.

Working with Indicators

Drag and Drop Price onto the Moving Average, select Create Condition and choose the desired comparison.

Right-click on the Condition and select Scan.

I am confused; when you say "select Create Condition" do you mean click on "Add Condition to Filter"?  If so, I can't find the desired condition in any of the lists of conditions.  The only condition that I can find that is close to what I want is "vigorous ma cross"; is that the one you are referring to?

No Otto.

When you click on "Price History" (the legend at the top of the chart), then drag and drop it onto the MovAvg legend at the top of the chart (the moving average you want to check for price moving through), a small pop-up will appear giving you the choice of "Create Condition" or "Plot Comparison."

Select "Create Condition."  A dialog box will appear, and in it will be "Price History" with a pull down list of options;  select "crossing up" or "crossing down" through the moving average of choice.

Alternatively, right click on "Price History,"  select "Create Condition" then select from the list in the dialog box.

See page 53 of the User Guide (link available under "Help" in StockFinder.
