When you first draw the text (or when you edit it), there is a "set at default" option in the edit box.

Select the color you want then, select "set as default."

I'm not sure where the "set as default" option you mentioned, is in StockFinder?

I just realized I may have slightly misunderstood your question, but the response is pretty much the same.

When you first place the text on the chart, the edit box comes up.  If you want to change the color of the text for one time only, click on the drop menu item "Color" (the third edit box down from the top).

If  you want to change the default color for all future instances of chart text, click on the "set as default" selection I have highlighted with the red arrow.

If you want to change the color of chart text already on the chart, right click on it and it brings up the "Chart Text" edit box.

Bob thanks for your help. I think I may switch over from StockFinder 4 to Stockfinder 5.

You're welcome CT.

SF 5 is very slick...  definitely worth trying even in beta.
