Hi Bruce, Could you figure a way to limit a scans results to stocks and not include warrants? Example, SOLO showed up in my scan this morning (that's a good thing), but also SOLOW the warrant for that company showed up to (thats a bad thing).
Thanks,

What list are you scanning? SOLOW is not in the US Common Stocks list.

The easiest way I can think of to do this would be to copy whatever WatchList of stocks you want to use to a Personal WatchList.
Then you can do something like unflag all symbols, select the US Warrants WatchList to flag all of its symbols, switch to the Personal WatchList of stocks you created and right click on a symbol in the WatchList to remove flagged symblos from list

I was hoping it could be automated. For instance, 1)remove any symbols that end in W. 2)remove any symbols that contain more than 4 letters.
I could follow your advise above but then I would have to hand sort 6000 stocks, that could take weeks.
Help!,

Let's start with the fact that Moderator is right, SOLOW is not in the US Common Stocks WatchList. So what WatchList are you scanning?
There isn't a way to automaticlally remove symbols that end in W or have more than 4 letters.
Following my advice would not involve hand sorting stocks and should take minutes at most, not weeks.
- Select US Warrants as the active WatchList.
- Right-click on a symbol in the WatchList and select Clear All Flags in System.
- Right-click on a symbol in the WatchList and select Flag All | Symbols in List.
- Select US Common Stocks as the active WatchList (or whatever other list you are using now).
- Right-click on a symbol in the WatchList and select Copy All Symbols to... | (New Personal WatchList).
- Give the WatchList a name and seelct OK.
- Choose your new personal WatchList as the active WatchList.
- Right-click on a symbol in the WatchList and select Remove Flagged Symbols from List.
It may look like a long list of steps, but it took less than a minute when I ran through all the steps again just now (I am sure it would take most other people slightly longer as I use the program a lot).
