Hi
I've never used alerts on tc2000 and today I tried to setup an alert but it didn't fire. I sent a test message on the alert panel and I received it. However when I created an actual alert I didn't receive an email.
I have a couple of questions
Are alerts only operational during market hours?
Do I need to keep tc2000 software open to receive alerts?
My test alert didn't fire, bear in mind I tested after the markets had closed but tc2000 was open.
Alert condition
Microsoft msft price above 1.
This condition is always true as Microsoft is trading above 30 dollars.
Also, I'm a gold user.

Alerts are generally only going to fire during market hours because that is when things are changing.
You do not need to keep TC2000 open to receive alerts as long you have the alert set to set you an email or text. The alerts are generated by our servers, not by your copy of TC2000.
If you are continuing to experience issues with alerts, please contact technical support.
