TC2000 do not have the premarket data in terms of charts. This is very important as many trades at the open depend alot on the premarket. Is this feature going to be available soon?

I agree Dario. I use Think or Swim because of premarket data, Otherwise I would be a platinum client.

Pre and post market data can be plotted in TC2000 version 12.4 Platinum, but it is not yet possible to sort or scan using this data.
Thank you for your suggestion. It has been submitted to development for consideration to be included as a feature in a future version of TC2000. That said, I do not know when or if any particular feature will be implemented.

Bruce, I agree with the others on this thread. While many of the folks I trade with are able to use pre market data, I am unable to be helpful in this arena. I am interested in playing morning gappers and need to understand the volume associated with those gappers. I really need to be able to scan for gap plays that have a defined volume range. I see posts on this subject going back a bit. Is any progress being made?

My understanding is being able to scan on pre and post market data is something we eventually plan on doing, but I do not have a time table as to when the feature might be implemented.

Bruce, could you bring some update on the issue. Do you still have not a time table as to when the features (sorting and scanning ) with premarket and after hours will be implemented ?

This is in response to my original post. Unfortunately I have not see any updates on the pre-market data on Gold or Silver platform. However there a small solution to this (A temporary one - two months to be exact)
Worden Brothers has launched a brokerage called Tradefire. This comes with a TC2000 platform. If you open an account (min $2500) you will get a live, realtime platform and this comes with pre-market data on the charts (You have to select this option on the chart settings) They also offer a papertrade account with realtime data for 60 days, after which you have to open a live account.
Here is the link
http://www.tradefire.com/
I hope this info will be useful somehow.

You need to have realtime data in some form to view pre and post market data on the chart. So you could do this with Platinum with RT in both TC2000 v12 and TC2000 v16 or Gold with RT in TC2000 v16.

I would really like to see Premarket activity/scanning and have my orders set for market open, I cant do that currently.
We really need a premarket scanner. Please plan this in your next release.

I agree. Adding this feature is more valuable than working on some of the trading features currently being worked on.

Just adding to the interest of this topic. It would be wonderful to be able to create a realtime scan based off of the high/low of premarket figures.

I gotta say.. I loved TC2000 for years.. and I only hoped I could stay with them.. However there is no way I can even consider TC2000 anymore for these 2 reason.. 1. no premaket/post market scanning.. and 2. No premarket/postmarket data for beyond 1 days history.. Post and premarket data is crutial for trading.. .there is no way to properly draw good trendlines or to find good s/r without having all data prints on chart.. including pre/post market data.. I really hope TC2000 implitments these 2 things.. as I would think this would greatly increase your subscribers.. Like I say I will 100% come back to TC2000 if these were implimented.. I strongly feel there are thousands more who would feel the same..

I also believe TC2000 could charge more for their platform if they implemented:
1: Premarket/Post market scanning (with volume, gap, etc)
2: Premarket/postmarket data beyond 1 day history.
3: Daily values on an intraday chart.
