I'm would like to scan for Smart Change of the Moving Linear Regression Indicator. I set it up and create a column for the results, but no results. I've noticed this problem with other indicators as well. It only seems to work on just a few indicators. Any suggestions? Thanks. Dpd

This is a known issue which affects a very small number of indicators. Your characterization that it works on just a few indicators is incorrect.

My "easy" suggestion would be to use a Time Series Forecast instead of a Moving Linear Regression. It is somewhat unfortunate that we cannot set the Forecast Bars to less than 1, because it would match a Moving Linear Regression indicator exactly if we could set Forecast Bars to 0 in the Time Series Forecast indicator.

The more difficult workaround would be to create Condition Formulas based on the Moving Linear Regression for any particular Condition you wished to create. That said, this would not work for the "smart" Moving Up and Moving Down Conditions, but only for the Net and % Moving Up and Moving Down Condition.

Thanks Bruce, that helps. I guess my sample size was too small. Just the indicators I was trying to use didn't work. The Time Series Forecast gives me close to the same answers. Dpd
