I have a scan using a formula of  current week AVGV comparisons to 15 prior weeks.  The testing of the formula using a symbol showing up in the scan was false yet it's in the list.  How can that happen?

What is the formula and symbol? Have you update your Personal Criteria Formulas either as part of your most recent data update or since your most recent data update?

I use VGV5.1 compared to AVGV5.6,AVGV5.11 etc out to AVG5.111 (more than 15 weeks).  AVGV5.1 must be the smallest to get a "True" .  WATG showed up in the scan.  It didn't look right when I viewed the chart.  I viewed the chart by moving the line to 3/11 then \ and then did F10.   When I tested the formula using WATG the test symbol the result was "False".  You can see that AVGV5.1 is not < AVGV5.11.  AVGV5.1 is 5497.4 and AVGV5.11 is 5357.8.

My formula uses AND for the compares like:   (AVGV5.1 < (AVGV5.6)) AND (AVGV5.1 < (AVGV5.11)) AND AVGV5.1 < (AVGV5.16)) and so on.  The Test was False for WATG.

So why WATG showing up in the scan list????

The most likely reason would be a small error in the formula, but you didn't provide the complete formula, so I can't say for sure.

AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.6 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.11 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.16 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.21 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.26 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.31 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.36 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.41 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.46 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.51 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.56 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.61 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.66 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.71 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.76 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.81 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.86 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.91 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.96 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.101 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.106 AND AVGV5.1 < AVGV5.111

Another possible reason that was pointed out in my original response is when your Personal Criteria Formulas were updated compared to when your data was updated. The possibility also exists that your PCF or EasyScan has become corrupted in some way (if so, recreating them both from scratch will generally resolve the issue).

I redid the formula to  remove the ( ) in my formula.  My formula now looks just like yours.

It seems to be working OK.  I will do more testing to make sure

Thanks for your help
