Hello would like to know, how can I create a PCF that shows a double bottom in a stock, can that be done with the help of stochastics ? or is there another way to show that. thanks

There are several ways you can do this once we define what will qualify as a double bottom. Can you elaborate on the pattern you want to find?

Hello Craig, thanks your ansewer, well what I m looking with the PCF is to find stocks that have reached the bottom of their price, and have found a support there. Am I that clear ? Thanks Regrads Victor Rendon

Hello Craig, me again, Victor Rendon, have no way in this mail to elaborate a pattern. don t know how to draw it, but what I m looking is a pattern like a W maybe with a space in days between each bottom of one to three months at least, and that W must at the very bottom of the chart, that is the lowest price, like the ones we re facing now. Would like tocatch those stocks, who touch it s lowest price and retested again. Hope my question is clear. Thanks Victor Rendon

tolcho,
Craig may have some additional ideas, but you may wish to review the following for information on pattern recognition in TeleChart (especially the topics related to finding double bottoms):
Falling wedge
Cup with a handle formation
PCF for cup with a handle
Scanning for Chart Patterns
Scanning for Stocks Printing a Double or Triple Bottom
PCFs for pennants and flags
PCF's for Triangles
Does TeleChart support Elliott Wave indicators?
Double top/bottom trend
Finding Double Tops and Double Bottoms
CUP AND HANDLE AGAIN
That said, I personally do not think there is a practical way to do this using EasyScans and TeleChart's Personal Criteria Formula Language. This is true of pattern recognition in general with the exception of candlestick patterns:
Boolean PCFs for Candlestick Patterns

I personally think there are a number of ways of doing this.
And have proven it.

Architect,
Claiming you have a solution without providing it doesn't help anyone and isn't a useful contribution to the forums.

It is a useful contribution in that they now know that it can be done.
For you to suggest that I should freely give up my extensive work is disingenuous.
In blocks, there were over 14,000 hits on my threads, that is and remains a huge contribution that we made to the Blocks community.
That I figured out how to carry things further not in that forum is my perogative.
Knowing that something can be done is a huge contribution.

It doesn't really contribute much to this forum. It's easy to tell others that something is possible. But if you aren't at least willing to offer a step in the right direction, then it rings a bit hollow, if not pompous.
