To All...Where do I go for my reply ?? (Be polite now) I ask either Bruce or Craig for help with a pcf for macd (12-26-9)hist. Where the bars are all >0 and today's bar is nearer 0 than yesterday's bar.

I feel that they answered my question, but I can not find it. I went to "post by" doc355, also Craig and Bruce, but no luck.

Is it the following topic?

MACD - Histogram

It appears to be the opposite actually. Maybe it is this one?

MACD cross up with value < 0

In either case, please try the following:

XAVGC12 - XAVGC26 - XAVG(XAVGC12,9) + XAVG(XAVGC26,9) > 0 AND XAVGC12 - XAVGC26 - XAVG(XAVGC12,9) + XAVG(XAVGC26,9) < XAVGC12.1 - XAVGC26.1 - XAVG(XAVGC12.1,9) + XAVG(XAVGC26.1,9)

You can search for your name.

Check out this video:

Learn how to use the forums: post a new topic, reply, Search existing topics

It will show you the SEARCH function. When in search, click and change the POSTS to POSTED BY and search for your name: lake355

I just did a search for your username and found nothing. Did you create a new login? If so, please call 800.776.4940 so they can give you your original login information (that is tied to your TeleChart account).

Bruce...Thanks for your patience. Hope I'm not confusing the issue. It is the reverse. The first was the bars were LESS THAN 0 and today's to be closer to 0 than yesterday's. I want the 2nd to be with bars GREATER THAN 0 and today's bar to be closer to 0 than yesterday's.

When I reversed the > & < in the 1st pcf for the 2nd pcf, it did not work effectively. What else should I have change ?

lake355,

We need you to call the 800 number and get logged in under your correct account. Please ask to speak to a supervisor.

I don't know. All I did to create the formula in this topic was reverse the < and > symbols from the previous topic and it seems to be working.

Bruce...You and Craig have been most helpful and your patience is appreciated. I will call to have my log in corrected. Will also give the 2nd pcf a more careful look to make sure it was copied correctly.
Thanks, doc355.

If it still gives you problems, please provide some examples of symbols where the formula does not appear to produce the correct results.

Craig...April 4, '05, you referred to Understanding Series and indicated that you were making a presentation on the Stochastics. Where could I locate that Stoch presentation ?
