Hello,

I know it is possible to export the data of a selected stock by right clicking on the chart and exporting the data.

Is it possible to download chart data in mass (like 100 selected stocks in watchlist at once)  and not one by one ?  I seem not find any possibility to do so in Telechart 18 software.

Thx a lot for your help and claryfing this!

BR
Michael

No, there is not a way to export the data for an entire WatchList at a time in TC2000 v18.

Hi Bruce,

If wanted to watch a list of symbols and monitor returns on a month by month basis, I know how to add those individual columns to a watch list using custom date sort. Exporting this data to Excel would be a nice feature and I hope it is something on your roadmap.

In the meantime, how would I look at the individual columns showing month by month returns and identify those symbols whose returns are increasing month over month?

Thanks.

Mike

I might create WatchList columns for daily price percent change of non-overlapping 21 trading day periods (to approximate months). Thes formulas would use a daily time frame.

So one of the columns would be:

100 * (C / C21 - 1)

Another column would be:

100 * (C21 / C42 - 1)

And yet another would be:

100 * (C42 / C63 - 1)

You could continue this pattern as much as you want.

Another option would be to use calendar months instead of a fixed number of trading days per month. You would use a monthly time frame for this.

So the most recent month would be:

100 * (C / C1 - 1)

The previous month would be:

100 * (C1 / C2 - 1)

And 2 months ago would be:

100 * (C2 / C3 - 1)

You could continue this pattern as well.

Thank you for your suggestion.
