Topic: Exporing historical data for a watchlist

Hi Bruce,

If wanted to watch a list of symbols and monitor returns on a month by month basis, I know how to add those individual columns to a watch list using custom date sort. Exporting this data to Excel would be a nice feature and I hope it is something on your roadmap.

In the meantime, how would I look at the individual columns showing month by month returns and identify those symbols whose returns are increasing month over month?

Thanks.

Mike

Is there a way to plot the relative strength of a symbol vs its industry in a seperate pane? The relative strength indicator requires you to manually enter the industry symbol. Would like a way for this to plot automagically as the symbol is changed.

Thanks.

Thanks Bruce.

Can you also tell me the PCF for the start and end points for a standard (non-moving) linear regression line? For example, a linear regression line applied to 20 bars of price history.

I’m thinking the starting point is the C of 20 bars ago?? I am having a hard time interpreting these formulas.

I am trying to write a pcf for the percentage change (not annualized) of a 6 period linear regression line applied to a 20 period simple moving average. Can you tell me if this formula is correct?

100 * (EXP((2.5 * LOG(AVGC20 ) + 1.5 * LOG(AVGC20.1) + .5 * LOG(AVGC20.2) - .5 * LOG(AVGC20.3) - 1.5 * LOG(AVGC20.4) - 2.5 * LOG(AVGC20.5)) / 17.5) - 1)

Thank you

Hi Bruce - any ideas on this custom date sort issue? I can't seem to access any dates earlier than 9/17/2001. Thanks.
