Support and Resistance values in watch list Rate this Topic:

Hi Bruce,

If I want to know support and resitance values as a watch list column, can you give me the formula?

Not unless you have something more specific in mind than just support and resistance. Show the same chart to 20 different people and you will get 20 different values for support and resistance.

You would need to provide a specific unambiguous objective definition of what constitutes support and resisance in order for us to be able to create a formula. Then it may or may not be possible defending on the details of the definition.

Like you said Bruce, they change for intra day/week or so. What if I say Pivot points, will that work?

In my mind, mainly I have for intra day Support and Resistance and for swings may be Pivot points.
