Happy Friday, Bruce!

I'm trying to turn a friend on to TC2000. Figured they just need Silver at first, but they'd probably want to add the real-time data feed (below).

How much are we talking?

$9.99 / month for Silver + $14.99 / month for Realtime U.S. Stocks = $24.98 / month.

But you can also add the following realtime feeds as well.

Dow Jones Indexes - $2.00 / month
Realtime U.S. Indexes (besides DJ) - $9.99 / month
Realtime U.S. Options - $9.99 / month

Can I assume ETFs are included in with the $14.99/mo U.S. Stocks?

Final question(s), I think ...

What kind of data are we getting with the $9.99 Silver? 15-minutes delayed? BATS? Something else?

Same question for the $29.99 Gold.

My friend is a Worden virgin, so they're not used to scanning or sorting (yet). They eyeball their charts, and follow a very small number of tickers, so they won't need scanning/sorting for a while, until I sell them on the other features. They do need real-time data though if they're going to trade options with real money. So I'm assuming the best deal for them is Silver, with real-time stock data, and real-time option quotes. That's $9.99 + $14.99 + $9.99 = $34.97. What do you think? Is there a better way to go? They would probably trade through TC2000 Brokerage - not sure if/how that impacts any of the pricing.

Finally, what about intraday charts? How does Silver, Gold, and Platinum compare on charts with timeframes less than a day?

Off to grab a quick lunch ... back in a few minutes. :)

Almost forgot ... what level of service would they need to plot your Elder Impulse chart?

The Gold subscriptions should give BATS data in TC2000 v12.5 and 15-minute delayed data in TC2000 v17 or the TC2000 v18 beta.

TC2000 v7 or v12.5 requires Gold and the Dow Jones Indexes feed to run at all however. So the delayed feed would be $1.00 / month and the realtime feed would be $2.00 / month on top of the base price in order to use TC2000 v12.5 and gets the BATS data (but lose a bunch of other features).

You need at least TC2000 Gold to use formulas (which are required for the Elder Impulse Chart). While you can create PCFs, you can't plot them or use them as a WatchList Column (but they do seem to work for Alerts).

I contacted customer service to downgrade to silver, but they warned me that I couldn't use silver with 12.5.   Did you change your policy or is she uninformed?   Thanks, Scott

Customer service is generally better informed on sales related questions than I am and are correct in this case. You cannot use TC2000 v12.5 with Silver.
