Topic: How to monitor the bond market
Posted: Friday, June 8, 2007 11:39:43 AM
This may not be the right area to ask this question, but with all this discussion about the rates on the bond market I now know I need to monitor it carefully.

Where or how would I be able to monitor that??

Any sites, charts, etc. would be helpful.

Thanks.

Hi,

I'm looking for a PCF that will scan a stochastic (21,3,4) that is crossing it's 50 bar moving average (preferably) from the bottom.

Can you help?

Thanks.

Is there anything that I can use to plot EPS on a chart (I assume through SnapSheets?)
Topic: Price Kissing the 10 Week Moving Average
Posted: Thursday, February 1, 2007 11:24:59 PM
Hi,

I would be looking to have the price come from the top, with the price average for the 5 days be equal to the 10 week moving average. The variance can be about + or - .5% in either direction.

Ideally, it would have to "kiss" on all 5 days, and the volume over those 5 days has a variance of + or - 3% let's say...

Thanks.

Hi,

The price 'may' fall from the top and fluctuate (within a very small percentage range) and then bounce up.

The low can be determined by a price fluctuating around the same area (within a small percentage)..

I hope I'm making sense....

Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for your response.

1. I prefer from the top

2. Yes, that is correct.

Thanks!

Hi,

I'm looking to be able to scan for stocks that are:

1. Last 5 day closing price is just kissing the 10 week moving average, on an uptrend
2. Volume over the last 5 days has changed within a range of 1% to 3%

Thanks.
Topic: Linear regression channel calculations

Thanks Bruce,

What I'm looking for is the ability to have the widths of the channels be more dynamic based on the highs and lows and exclude the extremes, just like bollinger bands, but more in a straight line.

What I'm hoping to find are the tops and bottoms in a channel a little better.

If someone has a better example, I'm willing to listen.

Thanks.
