I was hoping that by selecting the blue square (Stop streaming scans), I could keep my picks from yesterday.

And, that by selecting the blue triangle (Start streaming scans), I could see new picks from today.

But, it doesn't appear to work like this.  Please explain...

That just means the scans are no longer cycling through as quickly as they can in realtime. It allows you to have more than 10 EasyScans for example and choose which 10 are calculated in realtime. It isn't designed as a snapshot feature.

The scans will still recalculate if you restart the program or something happens that would cause a non-streaming EasyScan to recalculate on its own (like being inactive or set in the background and suddenly re-activated).

If scans are no longer cycling through as quickly as they can in realtime, how often (in minutes) are they cycling?

They really aren't cycling, but there are still program events such as becoming visible after being a background or being manually refreshed which will still cause the scans to re-calculate.

What would cause  "being manually refreshed" if one doesn't change the blue square?

Bruce, if she wants to view the scan results from yesterday, could this not be done with Custom Date Sort?

A Custom Date Sort could give her a percent change over a span of time, but not necessarily the results of her EasyScans.

To get the results of EasyScans from yesterday instead of today, you would have to re-write the conditions in the EasyScan.

This is a lot easier in TC2000 v17 than it used to be because you can go into most conditions and change them from being true "Now" to "x bars ago" (with Bars Ago set to 1 in a Daily Time Frame).

But there really isn't a way to stop the scan. The best you could do as far as snapshotting it would be to copy the symbols from the EasyScan into a Personal WatchList.
