I would like to show All Stocks in an Easyscan selection except a few of the top industry or sector groups so that I do not have to view past leaders while searching for new oppertunities. The reasoning behind this request is that currently, as an example, Oil and Gas aka Energy is the dominant group, but new groups will emerge in the near future. When I am selecting stocks making upward moves I would like to exclude the present and past dominant groups and use my Easyscan to sniff out the newer upcoming groups that are starting their move up. Is there a way to select "All Stocks" as a primary selection in my Easyscan and then say in the next criterion, "exclude" the Energy group? Of course I would add other criteria that would complete my Easyscan in addition to those primary selections. Thanks for your thoughts and help with this.

I do not know of an automated method of doing so. The only way I can think of to do this would be to manually create a Personal Watchlist that does not contain these symbols.
You could Flag all of the Symbols in the All Stocks Watchlist and then switch to each of the Industries you wish to remove (unflagging all symbols in Watchlist for each of these Industries). You could then change to the All Flagged Items Watchlist and select New | New WatchList | Start with the symbols from the Active WatchList. This would create the WatchList that you could use as the Watchlist to Scan in your EasyScan.
