You will want to use the following Personal Criteria Formulas as EasyScan Conditions:
50-Day Price Change:
C - C50
5-Day Price Change:
C - C5
You can then adjust the Percentile Ranks as desired using the EasyScan Rangefinder. You may wish to review the following:

Thanks Bruce for PCF-s
In his article he had
"Total Net Income" 46 - 49
Can you explain to me what that means from a Fundamental point of view if you can.

From Definitions of all built in scanning and sorting criteria:
Latest Total Net Income - Includes all the operations (continuing and discontinued) AND all the other income or charges (extraordinary, accounting changes, tax loss carryforward, and other gains and losses).
I cannot provide information beyond what has actually been provided in the Worden Report as to why this was used with these percentile ranks.

TT,
Sir Rotate wrote:
b. 50 day price change...74 to 99 c. 5 day price change... 1 to 37
but likely did not intend what was written. He probably intended something like:
b. 50 day price percent change...74 to 99 c. 5 day price percent change... 1 to 37
PCFs for the latter are:
b. 100*(C-C50)/C50
c. 100*(C-C5)/C5
Thanks, Jim Murphy

b. PCF for 50 day price percent change . . . 74 to 99 would be 100*(C - C50) / C50 >= 74
c. PCF for 5 day price percent change . . . 1 to 37 would be 100*(C - C5) / C5 >= 1 AND 100*(C - C5) / C5 <= 37

bcraig73450,
The numbers given by Sir Rotate are percentile rankings and not values of any PCFs.

I agree Jim.
Sir Rotate was quoting percentile ranks, but Twinkletoes is asking for a PCF to return a stock which matches a specific percentile.
100*(C-C50)/C50 is a percentile which can range from -100 to +100 and can be put into a PCF to return a stock which matches that percentile.
That is what I gave in my post.

bcraig73450,
The PCF:
100*(C-C50)/C50
returns a percentage; not a percentile. It returns a value greater than -100 and is unbounded above. Percentiles are between 0 and 100.
If one wants PCFs which return TRUE for stocks satisfying:
b. 50 day price percent change...74 to 99 c. 5 day price percent change... 1 to 37
they are:
b. 100*(C-C50)/C50 > 6.56
c. 100*(C-C5)/C5 < (-2.147)
for 07/20/07. The numbers on the right have to be changed with each new update.
Thanks, Jim Murphy

I stand corrected, bustermu. 100*(C-C50)/C50 is a percentage which is unbounded on the up side and not a percentile.
I put my mouth into gear before my brain was fully engaged and I apologize.

Bruce,
Where do you find Easyscan RangeFinder? I want to use it to adjust Sir Rotates' values. Thanks.
