I can't get my TC 200v7 to open. Any help?
|
I'd like to write a PCF for a bullish engulfing candle, i.e. the open today is less than the open yesterday and the close today is greater than the close yesterday. I tried the following: o<o1 and c>c1 but this gave be candle patterns not conforming to what I want.

I entered this in my PCF's and got a syntax error message. Also, I asked for the wrong criterea. I wanted stochastics 5 to be below 80 the day before and then to have turned up.
|
I'd like to write a PCF for the following: 1) The chart is a 4 day chart. 2) Price > 50SMA. 3) 50SMA is angling up. i.e it's greater than the 50SMA of say 10 days ago. 3) Stochastics setting 3,1,3. %K is above 80 but has angled down. 4) MACD setting is 5,20,30. The short MA (5) is angled up.
Your help will be greatly appreacited.

I have the following PCF's: AVG V30.1, AVG V10.1, AVGV30. The first gives the volume 30 days ago, the second gives volume 10 days ago and the last the average volume of the last 30 days. I then put each of these on a tab. However, in the column in which I have AVGV30, I get no information. How do I get the average volume of the last 30 days to show. My goal is to compare todays volume with the volume 10 days ago, 30 days ago and the average of the last 30 days.
Also, Telechart has a field called diluted EPS from Total Operation. Is this the trailing twelve months EPS? If not, what is it?
Thanks

In easyscans, what is the difference between list rank and market rank?

Is it possible to write a PCF to identify stocks whose current P/E is below the average P/E for the last 3 years and whose latest EPS is higher then the average earnings for the last 3 years?
|
I wrote the following PCF: (MINL250<=0.5*MAXH250) AND C>1.1*MINL250. The purpose of this PCF is to find stocks that are atleast 50% below their high of the year but have bounced of the low. I then put this PCF in an easyscan. I was surprised to find stocks such as AEOS and AKAM, which are at 50 week highs. What did I do wrong?
Thanks

On a weekly chart the stock is still in an uptrend. Although, there are divergences that you mention, TSV has managed to hold above zero. The pullback from the highs is less then 5% (no worse then the overall market.) and the stock is still above the 50DMA. I would consider it too risky to short.
