TC 2000 lets us set a condition for the price in relation to an EMA, trendline, etc., such as above/below or crossing.

Is there a  way to set a condition for a scenario like this?  Price closed below the 20 EMA today and yesterday, but the trading day before yesterday the close was above the 20 EMA?

Thanks!

Could you explain why a condition like this, lnooking for downtrend on the daily charts,

AVGC35 <AVGC35.35< AVGC35.65

Would yield a chart like GOOG, which is clearly in a sustained uptrend?

Thanks,

Dan

Bruce,

I came across this thread when I found that Case 8894 appears to remain open.

Can you help with the daily histogram is going negative from positive?

Thanks,

Dan

I know how to set up a condition for price crossing a moving average up or down, but is there a way to scan for a stock that has closed  above the MA today and yesterday, but three days ago it closed below the MA?

The formula for one of the moving averages I am interested in is

((h+l+c)/3+(h1+l1+c1)/3+(h2+l2+c2)/3)/3

Thanks!

Yes, I have the EMA crossing scan condition, but what I was hoping for is to identify "turns," up or down, in the PPO itself.  When I scan for and seeing the crosses, I have often wished I had been watching for it before it happened.
