When I view a 3 month chart on Bigcharts.com with bollinger bands, with a 9 day simple mov. avg., the bands seem to "fit" the daily price action better. TC2000 shows alot of action outside the bands even though the setting are the same. (20bar, 20std). Any idea?
thanks

Don't know how Bigcharts works, but width of 20 in TeleChart is 2 standard deviations. In TeleChart, if you set the period to 20 bars, that means that the bands at any point are equidistantly above and below a 20 bar moving average. You mention both 20 bar and a 9 day simple moving average for your settings.
Not knowing how Bigcharts asks you for the Bollinger Band parameters, it is difficult to know why your TeleChart results are different. It sounds like the parameters are different, but I can't be sure.
Someone else reading this may be able to shed more light.

Thanks for the quick response. I just deleted the indicator and then re-added it. Looks fine now. Go figure.
