I have entered the following PCF to get a scan for Dark Cloud Cover:
1. C1/01*100
2. ABS(C1-01)/(H1-L1)*100
3. ((ABS(C1+01)/(H1=L1)*100/2)-L1)
4. (((((C1>01)*C1)+((C1<=01)*01))*(-1))*(-1))-L1)/(H1-L1)&100
5. ((((( C1<=01)*C1)+((C1>01)*(-1))-L1)/(H1-L1)*100
6. (H1-L1)/(AVGH21.1-AVGL21.1)*100

We did the update before putting in the PCF. When we checked for the results all we got was a Syntax error and after double checking everything. What are we doing wrong and why won't it work for us? Any help you can give would be soooo appreciated. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks, Shell

Shell:

You have listed 6 PCF's, not one. Apparently you have attempted to use them all in one scan. Which one is giving you the syntax error?

Shell,

Of the six PCF's you copied, 3, 4, and 5 have errors.

Craig's Boolean PCF for Dark Cloud Cover is equivalent to:

(C1-O1>(H1-L1)/2)AND(O1<C)AND(C<(O1+C1)/2)AND(H1<O)

and works fine.

Thanks,
Jim Murphy

You have zeros where their should be the letter O (as in open)

O1 is the letter O and the number 1, not Zero and One.

Not sure who would have told you. If you look at the post where you got them from you will see that it specifically mentions that each are a separate PCF.
