Hi,
Does anyone know of a good way how to find stocks/funds traded on the NYSE, ASE or the NASDAQ relate to China, India or Brazil. I’m in the process of building a separate WatchList for each country for stocks/funds with major business connections to these countries.
Some examples for the China Connection WatchList are: CAAS CEA CESV CEO CHL CHN CHNR CHU CTRP CYD GCH GSH HNP JCC JFC KONG LTON NCTY NTES PTR SHI SNDA SNP TOMO UTSI YHOO YZC ZNH
India: IFN IIF CBIN FBIN THFF
Brazil: BZF
Look forward to your responses and the great teamwork of Worden’s trainers and members.
Thanks. Winnie

If you want to invest in foreign countries you may be better off trading ETF's.

Echo Big Block. Too difficult to assess quality, quantity, competition etc. for U.S. companies conducting business in China. markacz

Recently bought CHN , been in GGB off and on , stopped out and missed the recent climb . Betting on China demand seems hard to predict She is a fickle dragon. but as China scoops up resorces there are fewer options for europe and the West. Seems like Canada, Norway and the norse minerals should see some demand and South Africa might be ripe for selective social amnesia .

If you google ADRs you can find lists that you can sort by country and the exchange, etc.

Hi islandrover,
Thanks for your suggestion to do a Google search, found a Bank website that had a selection for the country, Industry, Region, and traded on which Exchange.
This is the list I got from the website for ADR stocks listed on the NYSE and NASDAQ with business in Brazil, China and India. Word of caution, many of these stocks are NOT viable for investments or trading, ie. one criteria, daily volume much too low!
Thanks Winnie

In regards to last stock list for India ...here are some comments on REDF. This stock recently broke through the 5wk week high(in fact it all time high) on huge volume ..around 15.5, after having consolidated for about a month. It ran up to 18.5 before pulling back recently back to the $14 range. The cci and stochastics indicate that the stock is oversold now. This coupled with the recent break out / pullback indicate that this stock may be ready to move again to the upside. There is no overhead resistance if this stock does move so place a trailing stop.
This type of set up is one of my fav moves. I use it for day trading as well as swing trading. The consoldition near a stocks high and then a break out on heavy volume (must be heavy volume to confrim break out ) is a very powerful move. This chart pattern can also be used for ascening traingles (look at chart for NVAX trough September..then break out occured early Oct @ 1.65 ..i just sold this at 2.7....and bought again on weakness in the marekts this week at 2.15.)
CHINA is another good play .....internet service provider in China .... ony a possible 100 million subscribers if 10% of the population subscribe ! This stock can really move when it wants and is very volatile...so there is good money to be made if you trade it at the right time. Right now it is my short term watch list as it has under gone a nice pull back, the cci and stochastic are starting to get into the oversold. I would also like to see more volume step into the stock before I would consider a trade.
