Bruce, trying to write that either the close or the 8EMA is 10% or moe from the 34EMA. I wrote it as,
ABS((C /XAVGC34))/100 > .10 or ABS((XAVGC8 /XAVGC34))/100 > .10
I don't feel as though they are giving the correct figures.....

Please try the following Condition Formula instead.
ABS(C / XAVGC34 - 1) >= .1 OR ABS(XAVGC8 / XAVGC34 - 1) >= .1

Bruce, thanks for the suggestion. I didn't understand if I was to choose one or the other, because I was under the impression that "OR," was not possible in tc2000? Seems ABS(XAVGC8 / XAVGC34-1) > .10 works....something similar.
I also had it written as: ABS(XAVGC8 / XAVGC34 - C) > .10
I don't know if this was correct either???

OR can be used in formulas, it just isn't available to combine multiple EasyScan Conditions.
ABS(XAVGC8 / XAVGC34-1) > .10 is correct if you are just checking for 8 EMA being more than 10% away from the 34 EMA, but it does not check for price. It is pretty much the same as the part of my formula after the OR .
ABS(XAVGC8 / XAVGC34 - C) > .10 is wrong. The ratio of the two moving averages really isn't scaled with price at all, so subtracting price from it doesn't work well and certainly isn't going to do what you want.
